For the last night of our time with Nana she decided we should stay at a nice hotel in Denver... closer to the airport since snow was predicted! It took us forever to get their but we were safe:) Kira felt like royalty being there! Definitely a Fancy Nancy moment or two Aunt Sandra! She was so excited to jump on the bed and swim at a pool. After a nice dinner there we braved the strange pool... it is normally nice but had turned to a stinkin' RAIN FOREST! The snow and ice were think on the glass roof and melted as the ceiling heaters were on full blast. It literally rained in there everywhere but under the two heater strips!! Nana and I tried SO hard to be excited with Kira... we laughed lots and wished for our umbrellas!! She is a little too brave in the water and does not want us to hold onto her! She relies on floaties and such. We had a crazy night of sleep as Kira seemed to be sick and would cry... I was not brave enough to leave in the snow in the middle of the night to buy meds for her so Nana offered a piece of asprin.... SHHHHH don't tell... after that she slept. The next morning we got ourselves and even Barbie ready for an outing at a BIG MALL and had lots of new adventures. Before we knew it we had to drop Nana at the airport. It was awful... Kira started the tears right away and they didn't stop until we reached Loveland... 45 minutes or more later! We both were a wreck!! By the time I handed her a frosty at Wendy's she told me "I'm not sad anymore, Nana wants me to be happy." She let me know Nana wants me to stop crying too! We had to let her go back... still want her out here as soon as she can!! What a special lady she is!!
