Fun for All

Kira loved having all of her cousins around. We made it out to swim at a local water park, played plenty of dress up, swords, princess, and barbies over the Holidays. Raylee is only a few weeks older than Kira and we love to see their bond growing. Although both of them appear very "feminine," we see Kira with a little mischief in her eyes. Seeing that she is with a group of boys all week- she finds it necessary to push others and ROAR when needed. Yes, ROAR--- if she thinks you might be after her Barbie or are following her too close... she'll let you know it's time to back off. She's even tried to send ME to "TIME OUT!" As soon as she realizes she has little power of me she freaks and the tears of frustration start to roll. I often smile- which ofcourse doesn't make her any happier. When it comes to Bart, she can't handle him even telling her the famous, "That's enought Kira." The tears are guaranteed to follow!

New Years Eve was at our home, we had dessert and a movie for the adults and the kiddos watched Peter Pan upstairs. My brother-in-law Jack had picked the Bucket List. I had forgotten all the curse words and definitely have to blame him for the awkward moments here and there:) Despite it all, the movie is a great one and his parents made it through the entire flick! Jack, Matt, and Sheila stayed up with us and played games until 2am! The kids all slept over even Travis. Kira thought it was pretty cool to have Travis share her room downstairs. They all enjoy playing drums together in the basement... they are so glad Bart set them up for them to jam!
