Bart was finally able to spend a weekend camping with Kira and I. We haven't done more than chores and such on our weekends so it was great to just be away from my lists of things to still do! It has been stressful here with struggles with our insurance/bills and job worries. I can imagine the immense pressures many are dealing with, the U.S. has got to make some changes that actually work over the long haul.
ANYWAY, Kira was thrilled to be in a little RV park with lots to do! We usually camp away from civilization. Spruce Lake RV staff were really kind and Bart LOVED their free coffee and even enjoyed BINGO! We were able to mini-golf, swim, play on the playground, and use their activity center. Next time we'll make sure Kira's fishing pole is ready to roll to catch trout in their pond. It was perfect for family bonding... that camper will be around for a long time!
