MY Theo

I have heard several people say how much they adore seeing photos of Theo as he grows up. He is FINALLY starting to like having his photo taken... he sees the camera in my hands and gladly says "CHEESE!" His MOM is a photographer so I feel like my photos are lacking! She is so kind though and loves to see all the little moments during his day, excited as he plays with his buddies. He is very fond of our youngest friend, Layla, and ensures her happiness... handing her toys, even helps with her bottle, he'll lay next to her and play with toys just like she does : ) On Fridays we have a new little boy that is pretty tight with Theo too!! They are close in developmental stages for sure: )

Theo has been playing an interesting game with his parents... he tries so hard at home to only let a few words slip out of his mouth and rather likes to babble away lots of the evenings with them. THEN at Miss Susie's, he lets us know he is in charge! Say it is breakfast, you will see him pull his big wood chair to the table, set up some plates and cups and command, "EGGS.... SAUSAGE." Imagine now my daughter Kira comes over being a rather demanding girl herself, she decides he has it WRONG and moves the plates into a new order... you can hear them from miles away... Kira says "NO" boldly followed with "YES" from Theo and on and on for several times until they are stopped. : ) We go over the days of the week song daily and Theo will make sure he is present and chimes in here and there just like he does now with the ABC's songs our LeapFrog stuff plays. The other day he piped in while we were working on our days again saying clearly "THURSDAY." He is so clear with his words it is almost funny that he isn't sharing more with his parents. He talks about "DADDY" non-stop lately! He loves our little ditties that we sing for hand washing and shapes. Once he is ready to talk I'm certain he will be a very chatty little boy: )
